Versão americana da série britânica, transferiu as locações para Pittsburgh. Mostra sem filtro o cotidiano de uma comunidade LGBT com muito romance e boa dose de comédia. O sucesso ajudou a quebrar tabus e marcar território.

American version of the British series, moved locations to Pittsburgh. It shows, without filter, the daily life of an LGBT community with lots of romance and a good dose of comedy. Success helped break taboos and mark territory.

UK 1999-2000. 10 episódios - 2 temporadas - 48'

Uma série de temática gay inovadora e ousada que narra a vida dos amigos Stuart e Vince, e a entrada de Nathan, um garoto de 15 anos, que está apaixonado por Stuart.

Esta versão britânica original desenvolveu menos personagens e foi logo ganhou uma produção americana bem maior. Do bom elenco destacam-se os hoje premiados Gillen e Hunnam.

Em 2022 foi feita uma nova versão nos EUA, que durou apenas uma temporada.

An innovative and daring gay-themed series that chronicles the lives of friends Stuart and Vince, and the entry of Nathan, a 15-year-old boy, who is in love with Stuart.

This original British version developed fewer characters and was soon given a much larger American production. Of the good cast, the now awarded Gillen and Hunnam stand out.

In 2022, a new version was made in the USA, which lasted only one season.

A film recorded with a mobile phone with a daring theme, in the universe of transvestites and yet light and fun. A fine example of a director getting a great result with no resources.

Naquele ambiente solitário nas montanhas, eles acabam tendo um rápido contato sexual. Quando o trabalho no rancho acaba, cada um segue seu caminho. Ambos casaram e vivem com suas respectivas esposas. Por muitos anos, não se veem até que um dia, eles começam a marcar encontros esporádicos e mantêm um caso amoroso durante uns vinte anos.

Um filme que quebrou barreiras da indústria por sua temática então ousada. Comovente e com interpretações brilhantes. Venceu o Oscar de direção, roteiro e trilha sonora, mas perdeu o de melhor filme por conta do lobby dos grupos de direita. Um dos grandes filmes da história do cinema americano.

Jack and Ennis met in Wyoming in the summer of 1963 when they went to work for a rancher who raised sheep. In that lonely mountain environment, they end up having a brief sexual encounter. When work on the ranch is over, everyone goes their separate ways. Both married and live with their respective wives. For many years, they don't see each other until one day, they start making sporadic dates and maintain a love affair for about twenty years.

A film that broke industry barriers for its then daring theme. Touching and with brilliant interpretations. It won the Oscar for directing, screenplay and soundtrack, but lost the best film because of lobbying by right-wing groups. One of the greatest films in the history of American cinema.

Morte em Veneza - Death in Venice (Morte a Venezia)

O compositor Gustav von Aschenbach viaja para um resort em Veneza para fugir de uma crise pessoal e artística. Apesar da tranquilidade do local, ele desenvolve uma atração perturbadora por um adolescente, Tadzio. Mas as vidas de ambos são ameaçadas por uma epidemia de cólera. Baseado no livro homônimo de Thomas Mann.

A atmosfera criada por Visconti começa suave e evolui lentamente até o irrespirável ao  som de Mahler. Uma tradução espetacular da obra prima de Mann.

Composer Gustav von Aschenbach travels to a resort in Venice to escape a personal and artistic crisis. Despite the tranquility of the place, he develops a disturbing attraction for a teenager, Tadzio. But their lives are threatened by a cholera epidemic. Based on the book of the same name by Thomas Mann.

The atmosphere created by Visconti starts soft and slowly evolves to the unbreathable sound of Mahler. A spectacular translation of Mann's masterpiece.
